Hello! I'm Ricardo Kim, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the first generation of a Korean family. I am a graphic designer with a degree from the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urbanism (U.B.A.). Since 2009, I've been working independently as a graphic designer, undertaking projects in branding, editorial design, print materials, illustrations, websites, and other digital creations. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work as a designer at Mayorsoft (a software development company based in the United States), in Juan Lo Bianco's studio (a renowned graphic designer awarded the Konex Prize in 2012), and at Futurebrand (an international branding consultancy). In these roles, I've completed projects for various companies, including Klaukol, Loma Negra, Bimbo, Wines Of Argentina, Ferrovias, Government of the City of Bs. As., Usina del Arte, among others. From 2012 to 2020, I was a co-founder of the branding-focused design studio "Estudio Rooster," alongside my partner and associate, Lucas Olivari. Together, we executed projects and creations for startups and small clients, as well as larger companies such as Imperial, Banco Patagonia, La Caja, Diners Club, Ministry of Culture of the Nation, etc. (the latter projects being outsourced). Currently, I reside in Cologne, Germany, working as a freelancer on brand design projects and artistic endeavors.
